The Backbeat Foundation announces the 2008 Backbeat Jazz Fest Series. This year the Backbeat Foundation has expanded its evening series to showcase the most dynamic talent in New Orleans along side exciting national acts. For 2008, the Backbeat Foundation spreads across the city presenting more than 20 acts at 3 venues: Blue Nile (BN); Tipitina's French Quarter (TFQ); and Republic NOLA (RN). The 3RD Annual Backbeat Jazz Fest Series kicks off Saturday, April 26th and keeps the groove going through Sunday, May 4th.
The Backbeat Jazz Fest Series will provide an opportunity for Festival goers to personally and intimately experience the magic of our music while supporting a worthy cause that benefits the music and culture of our city on the rise.
