GARDEN PARTY MUSIC SERIES
The Backbeat Foundation's inaugural Garden Party Music Series at the gorgeous Botanical Gardens in New Orleans' City Park was a huge success. The series has been renewed for select dates in 2010. Stay tuned for more information. |

The Backbeat Foundation presents this annual showcase at the Association of Performing Arts Presenters Conference, displaying the best New Orleans talent to music industry insiders & others across the country.

RHYTHMIC ROOTS FAIR
Rhythmic Roots brings together the culture and people of New Orleans
through a Drum Circle to create positive energy that is both relaxing
and reinvigorating. The essential concept of Rhythmic Roots is to bring
together pivotal elements of New Orleans musical culture focused around
the pulse of the drum. A professional percussionist leading group efforts with
additional guest percussionists each week, a Mardi Gras Indian Tribe,

FREE MUSIC FRIDAYS
Continuing for 8 consecutive Friday evenings, the Trailhead Foundation and the Backbeat Foundation presents “Free Music Fridays” at the Mandeville Trailhead. This music series is geared towards bringing a quality family cultural experience to the Northshore.
